Mediation Services
Mediation is a private, confidential decision-making process in which an impartial facilitator, the mediator, assists parties to work collaboratively in an effort to reach an agreement. The mediator guides communication toward an understanding of the parties’ perspectives, settlement options, and terms of agreement. All decisions are made by the parties themselves. If no decision is reached, the parties are free to go to court.
With her background as both an attorney and a family counselor, Michael brings a unique perspective to the mediation process. She has been certified as a Family Court Mediator by the South Carolina Board of Arbitrator and Mediator Certification and is ready to assist you with your mediation needs.
